Another comp and more movement in both the Order of Merit and Eclectic.
Simon Pay retains top spot after gaining another 24 points with his Presidents Day 12th place finish. The main rivals to Pays top spot so far have been Charlie Fletcher and Tom Rowland, Fletcher lost ground but gained another 20 points while Rowland gained ground with a solid 9th place and 35 points. Both Fletcher and Rowland have now been joined in the hunt by Peter Simpson after his weekend win and 100 point haul to go with his previously collected 41 points. Mark Stonley and Lee Hortons mid season slump continues as both failed to place in the top 32 places for the second week running. Simon Chadwick followed last weeks runner up spot with another solid showing and now sits well on 120 points and not out of the overall competition with double pointers and plenty more events still to play.

Phil Starkey solidifies his lead with a three birdie haul to more to a 59 gross, 54.62 net eclectic. Starkey is now being chased by Jaime Hodgkinson who improved from 61 to 57 gross, 55.75 net thanks to a held birdie bunker shot on 18. Although disappointed with his recent OOM form Lee Horton is still a big contender in the eclectic sitting in third 2.25 behind top spot. Hortons card is surprisingly stronger on the tougher back nine which means that plenty of chances to improve his score exist on the easier nine. Further down the field Roger Griffiths is showing a healthy eclectic return despite his recent competition struggles. Standing at 60 net Griffiths is certainly well in the mix as the eclectic continues.
